The latest news comes from Hyundai as they have announced the impending launch of its upcoming electric SUV – the Ioniq 5.
Its set to be launched in early 2021 and the prices is expected to be around the £40,000 price point.
The Ioniq will be a brand-new prototype, a four-wheel-drive with a stunning new design – really setting itself apart from the rest of the Hyundai range.
Initial information suggests it will be very minimalist in design – slim headlights, angular doors and obviously no exhaust.
No details have yet been provided regarding the interior but if its anything like the exterior – it’s bound to be simple and sleek.
Similarly, and frustratingly, there are no details yet regarding the electric capability, but earlier rumours certainly suggested that Hyundai were hoping to achieve the range of about 300 miles on a full charge.
