The most recent blunder came in the form of the new Vauxhall Adam range, there’s an Adam Jam, an Adam Glam, and an Adam Slam… SERIOUSLY VAUXHALL, SERIOUSLY?! We understand that perhaps the idea may have been to stand out a bit, but to attempt uniqueness with an everyday name plus jam is just a tad meh! It’s like pulling up in a car called the Seamus or the Callum. However the Vauxhall Adam is almost praiseworthy compared to what some of our friends overseas have come up with. Let’s take a look at some of the car names that left the team here at Leasing Options speechless. The Subaru Brat ‘Brat’ was in fact an acronym for ‘Bi-drive Recreational All-terrain Transporter’ still though; looking up the meaning of brat before manufacturing millions of brats wouldn’t have hurt anyone. The Daihatsu Naked Yup, naked! The Mitsubishi Winky Displayed proudly at the 1985 Tokyo Motor Show was a Winky. The Isuzu Mysterious Utility Wizard Mysterious. Utility. Wizard. PAHAHAHA! And The Gaylord Gladiator Our absolute personal favourite! The glorious Gaylord gladiator, a luxury convertible from the 50’s which sadly never made it to production. As much as we would love to sell you a Gaylord Gladiator, here at Leasing Options we tend to stick to the more conventionally named cars, like the Ford Focus and the Porsche 911. So whether you’re looking for a business car lease or a personal car lease, we can help! Give us a call on 0161 826 3861 and a member of our friendly team will be on hand to assist you.
