Skoda Targets Fleets With SE Business Models

Skoda UK is turning its attention to fleet businesses, following the roll-out of low-tax SE Business editions of its Octavia, Superb and Yeti Outdoor models, as part of the company's ambitions to reinforce its position in the company car market.

The SE Business line-up includes 19 versions of the car maker's Octavia and Superb hatchback and estate models, as well as the Yeti Outdoor, which was recently re-launched with a new design. All models come with either a 1.6-litre or 2.0-litre TDI engine with stop-start feature and low rolling resistant tyres for better fuel efficiency.

Other features fitted as standard to the fleet vehicles include Bluetooth connectivity, satellite navigation, DAB digital radio, dual-zone air conditioning and cruise control. Fleets can also take advantage of a 60,000 mile warranty, a country-wide network of fleet professionals and business centres, along with three-year assistance across all of Europe.

The SE business range opens with Skoda Octavia, which has a starting price of £19,560 for the hatchback and £20,365 for the estate. The Yeti Outdoor crossover is priced at £19,605 and will be available with or without four-wheel drive. The Skoda Superb business model has a price tag of £20,625 for the hatchback and £21,905 for the estate.

The new business versions of the three models present a highly competitive offer that will provide fleets with low whole-life and maintenance costs along with a small benefit-in-kind tax liability and low CO2 footprint, said Patrick McGillycuddy, head of fleet at Skoda UK.
