DVSA Website Crashed

As the lockdown measures in parts of the UK are further relaxed, the DVSA has opened up a limited number of driving test slots.

After four months of no practical tests being conducted, all previously cancelled tests were given a priority booking and new applicants allowed to apply for the remaining limited slots.

The last batch of available slots went live on the 26th of August at 8am, with 150,000 applicants held in a virtual queue. This extremely high demand crashed the website.

The DVSA has now closed the booking service and is set to re-open on Monday 7th September.
