The team at Leasing Options is feeling massively proud of one of its own – Rob Heys– as he has helped collectively raise nearly £6,000 for children’s charity – Solving Kids’ Cancer Europe – by canoeing coast to coast across Scotland.
Rob, a fellow cancer survivor himself, joined forces with nine of his friends to canoe across Scotland in just five days to help raise much needed funds for Solving Kids’ Cancer Europe in memory of Kitty Warburton, the daughter of a friend of the groups, who sadly died.
On completing the challenge – Rob said: “It was definitely the hardest thing I have ever done, battling 50 miles an hour winds, three-meter swells on Loch Ness and camping in the rain every night!!
“On behalf of all the lads – I’d just like to say thank you to everyone who has sponsored us and helped make it so worthwhile. This money will help make a real difference.”
