SEAT has added range-topping FR and FR Sport trim levels to the Tarraco family SUV range. The trim levels add sporty styling enhancements and extra technology.
The new trims will sit atop the Tarraco range, above the current Xcellence and Xcellence Lux trims, which focus on luxury.
The FR trim levels feature some purely cosmetic changes, with the engines on offer remaining identical to the rest of the Tarraco range. The Tarraco FR comes with 19-inch alloy wheels, a body kit, a tailgate spoiler, gloss black wing mirrors, roof rails and twin exhaust pipes. An electrically adjustable driver’s seat and front parking sensors are also standard.
The FR Sport gets 20-inch alloy wheels and adds SEAT’s Winter Pack, which includes heated washer jets and heated front and rear seats, plus a 360-degree camera and black leather upholstery.
The FR models build on the Tarraco’s existing standard equipment list, which includes a 10.25-inch digital cockpit, automatic LED headlights, triple-zone front and rear climate control, rear parking sensors and an eight-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
The engines on offer are already available to Tarraco buyers. The two petrol options are the 148hp 1.5-litre or the 187hp 2.0-litre that comes with an automatic gearbox and four-wheel drive as standard. Diesel buyers have a choice of a 2.0-litre engine with either 148hp or 187hp, with the more powerful version also coming with four-wheel drive and an automatic gearbox as standard.
