Mitsubishi’s new Series 6 L200 line-up expands with addition of new Trojan model. Positioned between 4Life and Warrior models, the L200 Trojan is available to order now.

The Mitsubishi L200 Trojan features Mitsubishi’s famed ‘Super Select 4WD’ system and bears the same exterior appearance of its Warrior and Barbarian siblings thanks to 18-inch alloy wheels and chrome front grille, exterior door handles and door mirrors.

Available with a choice of a six-speed manual or a new six-speed automatic transmission, the Trojan is powered by a new Euro 6d compliant 2.3-litre turbo diesel engine which delivers lower emissions and improved fuel efficiency in real-world situations.

On the inside, however, it does without the touchscreen infotainment system (which also means no Apple CarPlay or Android Auto) and you only get cloth seats and a manual-turn ignition. But there is a DAB radio and it is still fitted with climate control, remote locking and an auto-dimming rear-view mirror.

The Trojan comes complete with a host of safety equipment such as forward collision mitigation, lane departure warning and automatic lights and wipers, along with active stability and traction control, seven airbags, hill start assist and trailer stability control, all standard across the L200 range.
