Top Five Business Cars22 January 2021
We've crunched the numbers and worked out the top five business cars that our customers leased in 2020.
The Tesla Model 3 comes top of the list. The newest and smallest in the Tesla range has been a real hit with our business customers, featuring a single-screen minimalistic dashboard and contemporary styling throughout whilst offering sub-5-second 0-60 times across the range with the P100D model doing it just 2.4 seconds. The quick 0-60 dash doesn't limit its range abilities either, with over 300 miles from a single charge possible.
The practicality of the Model 3 also shone through for our customer – the smaller 'frunk' is able to store charging cables, keeping the luggage area free.
Following close on the Model 3’s heels is our most-popular hatchback, the Mercedes Benz A-Class, this generation looks stunning with curves and angles in all the right places. The cabin has a premium feel thanks to the materials used, whilst the optional MBUX 10.25 inch screen brings the cabin to life. The A-Class offers a wide choice of economical petrol and diesel engines, which car be mated with the Mercedes four-wheel-drive system to give an all-round usable, decent-sized hatchback.
Third place goes to the Audi A3 Sportback. From being the smallest Audi to one of its best selling, the A3 has evolved over its generations with the current version being a real hit with all drivers. Borrowing its engines and underpinnings from the Golf, it’s always going to be a sure favourite mixed with Audi’s premium look and feel interiors.
Kia's Niro is offered with a range of engine and electrical powertrain options, including a fully-electric version which has a range of up to 282 miles. Its batteries can be charged to 80% in just 45 minutes! This handsome-looking crossover comes packed with features, with economical engines and hybrid solutions to suit all needs and budgets.
The X5 is one of BMW's best selling models. It is well-styled, classy inside and out and is brimming with tech and high-spec features, with a wide range of engines, including a hybrid version.
It’s a drivers car in a practical SUV body, allowing you to enjoy your time behind the wheel on longer motorway trips or when progressing down a twisty B road.
