The Role -

As a company we fully recognise that we need happy customers and to achieve that we recruit the best customer support sales team possible. As part of the role of customer support, you will maximise all sales opportunities for Leasing Options by providing as much help and information to our customers as possible, while delivering outstanding customer service and at all times staying within the rules of the Financial Conduct Authority (“FCA”) and British Vehicle Leasing and Rental Association (“BVRLA”) guidelines. You will be responsible for building relationships with prospective and existing customers and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure at all times you treat the customer fairly in line with the rules of the FCA
  • To achieve Key Performance Indicators as set by management
  • Qualify new opportunities and ensure that they are passed to and then followed up by an Account Manager, in a professional and timely manner
  • To ensure customers are kept informed of enquiry and order progress.
  • To update the Leasing Options database and funder databases where required with correct and true information.
  • To carry out regulatory training as and when required.
  • Build relationships with customers, to encourage repeat business.
  • Gain basic vehicle specification knowledge
  • Ensure all conversations with customers are conducted as per FCA and BVRLA guidelines.
  • Ensure you have a basic knowledge of company car taxation i.e. how to work out Benefit in kind.
  • You may be required to carry out other duties from time to time to meet the needs of the business

The Role -

Pricing is key to our success, so we pride ourselves and recruiting the best people for the job. As a member of our pricing team, we will need you to work together to ensure vehicle pricing on the Leasing Options website is accurate and displays the best available deal for potential customers. This needs to be delivered alongside accurate internal communication of information to relevant colleagues and ensure this mirrors the strategy of Leasing Options and key objectives with our primary funders.

Reporting to - Pricing Manager

  • Upload of funder ratebooks to Leasing Options internal system
  • Ensuring all pricing and deal opportunities are followed up and marketing in a timely manner
  • Management of deals and pricing on ad-hoc basis
  • Monitoring of competitor pricing
  • Build relationships with dealers and funder
  • Finding deals through analysis of spreadsheets, funder systems and discount levels
  • Communication of new deals with marketing and sales team
  • Deal with queries from sales team regarding location of pricing
  • Production of spreadsheet for marketing purposes for Leasing Options franchisees
  • Supporting the marketing department with relevant information on deals

C# Backend Developer
IT & Development

We’re currently expanding our development team and are looking for an experienced .NET developer who will be involved in both maintaining existing applications, and the development of new Greenfield projects. You will work across the full development lifecycle from conception, development, testing and release. You will have been working on .NET applications for a number of years and have a solid understanding of C# and MVC. You will be expected to work in both a team and under your own initiative at times.

We’re currently in the process of converting all our MVC applications to API’s with React front ends and moving the back end infrastructure into the AWS Cloud (using .NET Core running on AWS Lambda), so any AWS/React knowledge would be desirable.

Head of UX
IT & Development

The Leasing Options family is growing and we’re looking for a creative and hands-on Head of UX to join the team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast growing Fintech company based in Manchester. Reporting to the IT Director, the Head of UX will be responsible for delivering an exciting digital roadmap for the business. This individual will be key in translating our brand identity into a world-class digital experience. Creating a relevant and engaging experience, whilst maximising conversion and driving sales.

You will be someone who pushes for compelling design but can integrate with a busy deadline-driven business working in a highly skilled team of in-house developers and external agencies using exciting and bleeding-edge tech. You’ll be responsible for prototyping your ideas but not expected to develop production code. Being digitally focussed, you’ll get branding but your passion is in digital.

Main responsibilities:

  • Creating visually compelling and commercially driven assets for our constantly evolving website using a mobile first approach.
  • Continuous testing and improvement of new ideas focusing on improving conversion rates and sales.
  • Working with key stakeholders in the business as well as an external SEO agency to test and implement new ideas and then working with the dev team to turn them into reality
  • Skills and Experience required:

    • 2+ years commercial experience in a similar role, encompassing UI/UX Mobile First Responsive Design and CRO
    • Portfolio of Digital and UX projects with evidence of creative execution, wire framing and prototyping
    • Experience using Adobe XD (or other)
    • Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, in a fast paced agile environment

Head of Compliance - Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer / Chief Executive Officer

The Role

We are looking for an experienced, pragmatic, hands-on, enthusiastic and energetic Head of Compliance to join our senior management team.

You will proactively identify and facilitate opportunities to support key stakeholders to drive continuous improvements to customer outcomes and risk management. Working within the SMT you will be empowered and enabled to help guide the business and its policies, as such we want someone with a good understanding of balancing their role within the commercial decisions of the firm.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for reviewing the regulatory horizon, providing impact assessments and interpretation to meet the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • • Policy – maintain up-to-date business-level policies and procedures.
  • • Training - ensuring all staff are suitably trained in all relevant regulatory topics, including face-to-face training where necessary.
  • • Monitoring - ensuring positive customer outcomes and compliance with company policies and the Compliance Monitoring Plan
  • • Record keeping - maintain documentary evidence within the Compliance Repository
  • • Upkeep of all compliance registers, including Operational Risk dashboards
  • • Updating and reviewing Business Continuity Plans, assisting in the co-ordination of testing where necessary.
  • • Complaints – ensuring that all complaints are handled fairly and in accordance with FCA Rules, liaising with external funders and the Financial Ombudsman Service, where required.
  • • Management information - designing MI to provide indicators of conduct and TCF outcomes
  • • Approval and logging of Financial Promotions
  • • Prepare for and assist with external audits
  • • Participation in management and committee meetings
  • • Regulatory reporting, including the submission of RegData returns and Connect applications
  • • Proactively engage in the design of new products, systems and processes, to ensure the fair treatment of customers by design.
  • • Ensuring compliance with data-protection regulations (eg GDPR and PECR)
  • • Management of the SMCR certification, conduct rule training and reporting
  • • Advising all levels of the business on current and future areas of regulation
  • Essential Skills

    • • Excellent administration skills, including the ability to manage and track own work.
    • • Experience of working in a financial services compliance team; preferably within the consumer credit or motor finance sectors.
    • • Strong working knowledge of key regulatory requirements (GDPR, FCA sourcebooks and relevant codes of practice, eg the BVRLA Leasing Broker Code).
    • • Degree level legal education would be an advantage.
    • • Effective and demonstrable management of stakeholder relationships is also a key part of this role.
