As a Manchester-based car leasing company, we wanted to support a cause local to us and so we’ve been supporting children’s bereavement charity Once Upon A Smile for the past five years.
Actors Danny Miller and Daniel Jillings set up Once Upon a Smile 10 years ago after losing a close friend, who left behind a wife and young family.
Seeing first-hand the lack of support available for families like theirs, going through a bereavement who desperately needed financial and emotional support, the friends decided to set up the charity.
As part of our ongoing support we’ve proudly sponsored the Once Upon A Smile ‘Grand Ball’ each year it’s taken place, our staff have also taken part in the charities’ annual skydive, hosted our own fundraising events and provided a car for the charity to carry out much needed work around the region.
Everyone at Leasing Options is really proud to support Dan and Danny with their incredible charity and we hope our fundraising goes some way to help provide the much-needed support for families after the death of a loved one.
Manchester Grassroots Support
To support grassroots sport within Greater Manchester, we have partnered with Moss Bank Junior Football Club in a deal throughout the 20/21 season.
We are joined by Harrisons estate agents, SBT engineering and BRS as partners of the club. The investment is part of our plan to support grassroots sport within the region.
We have naming rights of the main home ground, pitches and the pavilion. Additionally, we’re the main training kit sponsor.
Moss Bank Juniors Football Club, situated on Church Road, Bolton, has a number of pitches across there site. The LeasingOptions.co.uk pavilion has a nine a side pitch, 11 a side, three five a side pitches and two seven a side pitches – all of which will have a strong LeasingOptions branding presence. This is in addition to another six pitches from nine a side upwards across the site - a superb variety of facilities for the Bolton community.
Manchester Sponsorships and partnerships
Leasing Options has a long history of supporting local sports clubs and organisations with different types of partnerships.
In 2019, we agreed a two-year partnership with Super League rugby club, St.Helens R.F.C.
We joined the likes of Totally Wicked and Cash Converters as partners of the Club.
The partnership focused on player engagement as well as advertising in and around the stadium with Leasing Options committing to support St. Helen’s chosen charities.
Activities included a range of car-based challenges filmed at the Totally Wicked stadium and shared across Saints TV and both organisations’ social media channels.
In 2017, we announced a partnership with Lancashire County Cricket Club
The partnership included exclusive stand naming rights of ‘A Stand’ and included the creation of the brand new LeasingOptions.co.uk Terrace, overlooking the outfield and adjacent to the new 150-bed Hilton Garden Inn.
The terrace was used for all international fixtures at Emirates Old Trafford.
As part of the partnership, we also had access to the Lancashire First Team squad; where we filmed a range of car based challenges at Emirates Old Trafford and shared them with fans of the Red Rose County.
