Powered by the same 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 found in the BMW M5, the stupidly fast M8 gets 8 bhp more, giving it 625 hp, and a 0-62 time of 3.4 seconds. The 8 Speed gearbox has a smooth grand touring feel about it instead of a whip-cracking sharp change, which you’d expect from the most powerful M car ever built.
