Based on the Lamborghini Urus, the RS Q8 has a wider wheel track front and rear compared to the standard Q8, giving increased stability at higher speeds. With rear-wheel steering, the car stays planted in corners when you’re at speed, as the rear wheels follow your direction. It works when you’re slowing down too, helping with manoeuvring around town or tight parking spaces, as the wheels turn the opposite way.
Behind the standard 22″ wheels are Audi's 10 piston callipers to bring that 600hp to a stop, or you can upgrade to 24″ wheels and carbon-ceramic brakes. Air suspension comes as standard on every RS Q8, allowing the body to be raised or lowered depending on the surfaces. The body sees some styling upgrades over the standard Q8, with black grills and badging on the front and rear, with an aggressive lower splitter on the front. Either side of the large black grill are HD matrix LED headlights, too.
What’s more, you’ll find functional aerodynamic side skirts and an extended rear spoiler, combined with a redesigned rear bumper incorporating RS twin oval exhausts, diffuser and LED rear taillights. The interior has been upgraded to include a flat-bottomed RS steering wheel and Alcantara trim. Carried over from the Q8 is the sliding and reclining rear seats and a boot space of 605 litres.
