Funding Agreement Maintenance

Having a well-maintained fleet helps keep Drivers on the road and avoid unplanned vehicle downtime. It also supports a compliant response from a wider Health & Safety perspective, demonstrating the Company's commitment to Driver safety and its onward duty of care to the public.

Leasing Options offer a comprehensive range of funding solutions designed to keep your Company on the move - Click Here. These solutions can provide inclusive routine servicing, tyre replacement and breakdown cover, additional to the hire/purchase element of the vehicle funding agreement. Enabling the Company to retain consolidated control over its fleet costs, these enhanced provisions are arranged and paid for by the Principal Lease Provider, included as part of the monthly agreement payment, so making for easier budgeting while guarding against unanticipated financial risk.

In addition to the anticipated costs associated with vehicle maintenance, such as routine servicing, breakdown cover and tyre replacement, a warranty extension is included which safeguards against mechanical failure parts and labour costs, which might otherwise apply should the duration and/or mileage profile of a vehicle render the manufacturer warranty expired during the life of the lease agreement.

Compared to self-funded maintenance, a typical maintenance-inclusive agreement offers savings leveraged out of the agreement providers volume buying power and preferential terms. Moreover, having the support of the lease provider's maintenance team speeds up the service solution and provides additional protection in the event of servicing agent dispute.

Support interventions for routine servicing, tyre replacement etc., can be easily arranged over the phone or on-line, and typically include an option for pre-agreed vehicle collection and return, and - subject to availability - a courtesy vehicle.

Included in a maintenance inclusive agreement are:

  • Routine servicing parts and labour
  • Tyre replacement (subject to fair wear and tear policy)
  • Breakdown cover
  • MOT (as required)
  • Consumables such as brake discs and pads
  • Warranty extension.

Maintenance agreement costs are specific to the vehicle, term and mileage detail of the associated finance agreement.
