Leasing a Ford for under £200 per month
The launch of the original KA back in 1996 transformed the way city cars were designed and saw the rise of the now popular modern city car class. The Ford Ka+ 85 Active Hatchback replaces the second generation model and while it carries a similar name, there are some big and exciting changes to talk about.
The KA+ now comes with five doors and just as many seats, providing plenty of space for small and growing families to travel in comfort. The ride itself is smooth, handling most roads with ease. It’s a 5-speed manual transmission car, with no adjustments needed to get comfortable behind the wheel.
A 3-cylinder, 1.194 petrol powered engine is supported by a 42 litre tank, which burns through just under 50 miles per gallon. In terms of CO2 emissions, you should expect a rate of around 129g/km, which is a good level of efficiency for city-based cars. The top speed is a relatively conservative 105mph, but as it will be used primarily in the city, putting your foot down should rarely be a concern.
When it comes to standard features, customers will benefit from all-weather mats, privacy glass, cruise control and Ford Easy Fuel, which is part of the manufacturer’s improved anti-theft system. Safety features include the MyKey system (designed to encourage safer driving), curtain airbags, an engine immobiliser and tyre deflation detection. Anyone wanting to step up a level or two can add on features such as auto-temperature control, an exclusive paint job or choose from either the winter or city pack.
In terms of price, this car is available to Leasing Option customers for under £200 – making it a cheaper alternative to purchasing the car for its total RRP cost of over £13,000.
Leasing a Ford for under £350 per month
The Ford Mondeo remains as popular as ever. The small changes that have been made over the years put this car at the top of many of our customer’s lists. For under £300 a month you can lease the Ford Mondeo Hatchback Ecoboost 165 Titanium, giving you the perfect family car that is not only reliable but much cheaper than buying it outright for over £23,000.
Now in its fourth generation, the Mondeo is a more refined and upmarket vehicle. With 5 doors and seats inside the cabin, there will be no concerns over space. While it remains as easy to drive as ever, the Mondeo also features more technology than previous models, along with improved efficiency and better levels of comfort.
Going into more detail about specifications, it features a 4-cylinder, 1.499 litre engine, with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The tank can hold up to 62.5 litres, getting through just under 43 miles to the gallon. It also comes with large 18” alloys and has an upper speed limit of 138mph.
Standard equipment ranges from premium leather upholstery and parking sensors to dual zone climate control and a capless refuelling system. There is no shortage of safety features either with tyre pressure monitoring, the Intelligent Protection System (helping with car control and collision protection), keyless entry and lane keep assistance. If you have more money to spend and want to upgrade a little further, some of the extras include a power tailgate, retractable towbar, sports suspension and adaptive cruise control.
Leasing a Ford for under £400 per month
The Ford Kuga Vignale Estate TDCi 180 is an updated version of the older Kuga, bringing it in line with the modernisation of Ford classics like the Focus and the Fiesta. This is a premium-level Vignale car from the American manufacturer and when you take a closer look at this wonderful SUV you’ll soon see why. Best of all, you can take out a lease with us on a monthly basis for under £400 a month, which offers significant savings against the manufacturer’s RRP of almost £37,000.
While the exterior has been given a new facelift, the interior has also been treated to an update too. The use of Windsor leather looks immaculate, adding a real touch of sophistication to the cabin. It comes with a 6-speed automatic gearbox and has the ability to stretch up to 124mph when free from the constraints of the city.
As you would expect with a luxury SUV such as this, the Ford Kuga comes with 5 doors and heated seats to take the chill off during the winter months. Its 18” alloy wheels are powered by a 4-cylinder, 1.997 litre engine, while the tank holds up to 60 litres of fuel. The Kuga consumes a respectable 43.5 miles to the gallon, while CO2 emissions stand at 171g/km.
There’s more than enough standard features to talk about too, including Ford’s premium SYNC3 Sat Nav, rain sensor wipers and multi-colour ambient lighting. You also get the pick of Ford’s safety options with emergency assist, an airbag deactivation switch, enhanced parking aid and their Intelligent Protection System.
When it comes to the extras, you can choose from a heated steering wheel, active city stop brakes (which help reduce accidents at low speeds), polished paint alloy wheels and adaptive cruise control.
Why should you lease a Ford?
With so many varieties of car available to choose from, there are not many manufacturers that can compare to Ford, who remain one of the most affordable and reliable vehicle brands today. However, the price tag is still out of reach for many who cannot afford to buy a brand-new car outright.
Taking out a Ford lease for less than £200, £300 or £400 each month allows you to plan ahead without stretching your finances to the limit, as there is no variable interest. The price is set at the start of the contract and remains fixed right until the very end.
Aside from the high price tag that comes with buying a car outright, dealing with maintenance and repairs is another element that can add to the cost – in both the long and short term. Leasing Options offer a maintenance deal available to cover the cost of minor repairs and damage, as well as inclusive insurance packages, so you don’t have to worry about the hassle of comparing and finding the right option to suit you.
