Vauxhall have not produced a 4x4 for some time, which means they have no outdated style to follow or improve on and they can start from the ground up to focus on making a genuinely good car, which they have. The Vauxhall Antara 4x4 is a genuinely accomplished 4x4 with features like a hill decent system and even a self levelling rear suspension system on the diesel models. There are two engines available, a 138bhp 2.4-litre petrol and 148bhp 2.0-litre diesel, although the diesel will more than likely become the predominant engine buyers go for. Inside the Antara is modern and comfortable with a high quality sporty finish.
