Mazda will be sticking to the 5 for next year adding an array of improvements to the range.
You will see a revised bumper, lights and a new front grill. There is also set to be an option for power sliding rear doors.
Emissions have been targeted too and along with fuel economy have seen improvements right across the range. Every model produces between 8 and 11g/km less carbon dioxide than its predecessor.
As a result this moves the 1.8-litre petrol and all the diesels down a band for car tax, saving customers an extra £40 a year.
All models will have a choice of two new transmissions, a six-speed manual and as a first for the 5 there is going to be a five-speed automatic.
