It looks as though car manufacturer Chevrolet is planning on introducing a sub-brand for its cleanest cars. They currently have the Matiz that emits 119g/km of carbon dioxide and also the LPG-powered Aveo with figure of 114g/km. Both these vehicles under new plans would receive a green badge to help in marketing and also to attract more car leasing customers.

Even with the strict emission laws that exist in Japan, Nissan have been able to produce its first super-clean diesel engine. The 2.0-litre engine will be launched at the Tokyo G8 summit in July with high hopes of helping to reduce global emission levels.
With Nissan looking to reduce company wide vehicle emission car leasing customer can expect to benefit from their developments in the not so distant future.

In September Volkswagen will launch its new Golf. Car leasing customers can look forward to all the great things you get from a Golf with a few minor tweaks here and there. The new Golf however, does have one rather attractive feature in that it has cost VW nearly £800 less to produce. This means that the company will be able to make a profit on the car straight away but whether the reduced manufacturing costs will be passed on to its customers will have to be seen.

It seems as though the TaTa group are looking to expand further their assets with future acquisitions. There are rumours of a £1.5billion fund that can be used to buy another popular global brand. The successful purchase of Jaguar/ Land Rover has given TaTa the confidence to look at other opportunities. The Hummer, part of the GM group, may be the next target on its list.

Next year car leasing customers can look forward to the arrival of a new Range Rover and for the first time it will have an engine built completely from scratch specifically for the luxury SUV. The new 5.0-litre V8 will be available in both normally aspirated and supercharged and could also make its way into other vehicles in the family such as the Jaguar XF and XJ.
